French driver Isack Hadjar humorously described his recovery period during an appearance on the F1 Beyond The Grid podcast, joking that he did a "very good job on the couch" while sidelined with a wrist injury sustained during physical training in August.

The injury forced Isack Hadjar to sit out three consecutive rounds, missing the Dutch, Italian, and Spanish Grands Prix. However, his recovery has progressed normally, setting the stage for his much-anticipated return to action with Red Bull ahead of the upcoming Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
During his absence, Liam Lawson filled in admirably alongside Max Verstappen, scoring valuable championship points and impressing team management with his resilience under pressure. Isack Hadjar also discussed his contract extension with Red Bull for 2027 and the dynamics of racing alongside Max Verstappen as his teammate.

Despite missing multiple races due to his injury layoff, Isack Hadjar currently sits 8th in the Formula 1 drivers' standings with 86 points.
