During a chaotic wet race, Kimi Antonelli showcased impressive pace, though the young Mercedes driver admitted he still has plenty to learn about wet-weather driving compared to race winner Max Verstappen. Antonelli was particularly fascinated by how quickly Max Verstappen can read unfolding situations on track and capitalize on split-second gaps.
Reflecting on sharing the podium with the two icons, Kimi Antonelli stated: “Lewis basically did the history of the sport and Max is doing the same. On my side, I try to learn as much as possible whenever I drive closely to them.” He also highlighted Lewis Hamilton and his remarkable resilience even when race weekends go poorly as a key trait to emulate.
