Max Verstappen won Formula 1’s Singapore Grand Prix for the very first time on Sunday, leading Charles Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli under the chequered flag. Verstappen’s withstood an early challenge from Leclerc and proved quicker over the remainder of the race.
Charles Leclerc had the best getaway at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, but polesitter Max Verstappen ever so narrowly held him off in Turn 1. Lewis Hamilton maintained third place despite using the medium compound, followed by Kimi Antonelli, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

Charles Leclerc remained within touching distance until Gabriel Bortoleto stopped on the start/finish straight, causing a virtual safety car intervention. By lap 11, Lewis Hamilton’s deficit had reached three seconds, with Kimi Antonelli and the McLaren drivers close behind. On lap 18, Lewis Hamilton became the first frontrunner to pit for softs.
Kimi Antonelli moved to mediums on lap 23, and Charles Leclerc did the same on the next tour, rejoining just ahead of his Ferrari team-mate. Max Verstappen pitted later, safely rejoining in the lead.
Following a virtual safety car called for Lance Stroll, Charles Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli switched back to softs, while Lewis Hamilton stayed out. Kimi Antonelli reported brake issues on the radio, while Oscar Piastri suffered a slow puncture.
Charles Leclerc quickly overtook Lewis Hamilton after his second stop, cutting the gap to Max Verstappen.

Max Verstappen comfortably claimed victory ahead of Charles Leclerc. Struggling on his long stint, Lewis Hamilton dropped down the order as Kimi Antonelli sliced through to snatch the final podium spot.
