Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton has openly admitted that Ferrari's decision to start the Singapore Grand Prix on soft tires was a bad call. Despite initial struggles as the track dried out too slowly for slicks, the British driver managed a stellar recovery to claim a brilliant third-place finish.
Reflecting on the race, Lewis Hamilton explained that the pit wall opted for slick tires while half the grid was on intermediates, turning the opening laps into a disaster. However, nursing the car through those tricky moments eventually paid off as he carved through the field.
Lewis Hamilton also shared his pride in how the team responds to adversity, calling for everyone to learn from the weekend and refocus in the factory. He noted the immense hard work being put in behind the scenes alongside Charles Leclerc to deliver the results the Tifosi deserve.
Lewis Hamilton currently sits 3rd in the drivers' championship standings with 214 points.
