Formula 1's return to the Sepang International Circuit after nearly a decade brought a very special surprise for Mercedes-AMG Petronas driver George Russell. A video shared on social media showed the British driver holding an exceptionally thick scrapbook that looked more like a heavy library volume. The group behind the heartwarming gesture, known as Team GR63 Malaysia, clearly poured an incredible amount of dedication into the project.
In the footage, George Russell is seen sitting in the team's hospitality area, flipping through a blue folder filled from cover to cover with handwritten notes, sketches, and photographs provided by his supporters.

Earlier that same day, a group of fans wearing matching turquoise Mercedes-AMG Petronas caps approached the driver near his garage entrance to hand over the massive folder personally. Flipping page after page, George Russell admitted he was completely lost for words by the touching tribute. The driver also reflected on his current form, noting that his confidence behind the wheel has fully returned as the season progresses.
George Russell currently sits 2nd in the drivers' championship standings with 236 points.
