French driver Isack Hadjar of Red Bull has officially confirmed that he will face a five-place grid penalty for the upcoming Bahrain Grand Prix.

He shared the news during the race weekend at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. It remains to be seen how far the young driver can recover on a track that he believes is less favorable for Red Bull machinery compared to previous rounds like Baku.
Reflecting on the challenge ahead, Isack Hadjar stated: "If we still manage to fight for a podium this weekend, that would be good."
In the current championship standings, Isack Hadjar sits in 8th position with 86 points.
