Following a punishing 62-lap battle under the extreme heat and humidity of the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Scuderia Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton was completely absent from the mandatory post-race media pen.
A Ferrari spokesperson officially confirmed that the seven-time world champion required immediate medical attention after stepping out of the cockpit. Hamilton felt unwell after the race and was seen by the FIA medical team, receiving explicit permission to skip all post-race media obligations.

Online publications also verified the garage statement, noting that the physical rigours of the grueling street circuit forced the veteran driver to be checked over by track doctors. The intense physical toll was massively compounded by a critical strategic blunder when Hamilton ignored a late pit call during a virtual safety car period.
Left on heavily degraded tyres, he plummeted down the order, getting overtaken by Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli and both McLaren drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. After running near the podium, he finished in a disappointing sixth place. This marks another instance where the stifling Singapore Grand Prix climate has severely impacted the British driver, mirroring his struggles alongside George Russell back in 2024.
